Newly created for 2020, this award will recognize one of the young participants in our leadership program. Our youth leadership program, developed for young people with disabilities, teaches important leadership skills such as empathy, responsibility, and goal setting. As a true believer in the power of horsemanship, we are thankful to honor Soledad O’Brien at the Barn Dance this year. Soledad is best known for her work as a broadcaster and journalist, hosting her Hearst syndicated show, “Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien” since 2016.

Charles Boyce, President of Boyce Technologies, is a longtime supporter of GallopNYC and this year’s honoree. Honorees for the GallopNYC Rider Award, the Believe in Ability Volunteer Award, and the Educator Award will be revealed at this year’s Barn Dance.
