At GallopNYC’s celebratory Horse Show in Central Park, riders demonstrated their abilities and the skills they mastered through GallopNYC’s weekly therapeutic riding lessons. Honorary Judges who included elected officials, equestrians and GallopNYC supporters presented each Ride with Pride Horse Show participant with a Championship Blue Ribbon.
The festivities continued the following weekend with a fun-filled day of riding demonstrations, games, BBQ and celebration at GallopNYC Forest Hills. This year’s Ride with Pride is Ms. Kershaw’s 11th and final as Executive Director.
“Ride with Pride is beloved by our riders, parents, staff and volunteers because it celebrates all that the children in our program have achieved. We believe in their abilities and at this very special event our riders demonstrate their abilities. They are all champions.” said Alicia Kershaw.
Thanks to all our volunteers and special thanks to Goldman Sachs Community Teamworks!
We are especially grateful to all of our Ride with Pride Horse Show sponsors and Ribbon sponsor for their generous support. Your support helped us to raise over $25,000 to provide therapeutic riding free waivers to children with disabilities from low – and middle – income families. Thank you for Believing in Ability
