Each rider is taught by a NARHA certified instructor in a group lesson. Lessons are designed to suit the physical and cognitive abilities of each rider, in such a way that provides opportunities to build skills in an encouraging environment.
All clients receive medical clearance prior to riding. A physical therapist evaluates each physically disabled individual to determine his or her appropriateness for riding as well as to provide information to the trained instructors who conduct the sessions.
We carefully select horses who not only deliver an enjoyable and therapeutic experience but who are also well suited for each rider’s disability and body type.
In case of Flu epidemic, GALLOPNYC will follow NY City School Closing announcements.
