Success Story: Kaliel Intern

Dylan says – Here’s a really cool note from one of our BMCC interns, Kaleil: “I just want to thank everyone for all of your help and support through this semester. When I walked into Bowling Green in August, I had NO prior knowledge about horses, horsemanship or working with individuals with special needs. Today I can say I feel a lot more comfortable working around the horses as well as with the riders. ALL of the staff and instructors have been amazing! I’ve learned so much from everyone. I’m thankful and I hope my volunteering experience has helped GallopNYC as a whole just as much as it’s helped me. Thank you all and I’ll see you all next semester in January!”

And Cathy says — Kaleil has been a dream volunteer! So enthusiastic, cooperative, eager to learn and willing to do whatever is asked of him. I really hope he comes back next semester!
