Help people with disabilities and special needs live life as fully, productively and independently as possible. Your generous gift will go immediately and directly to moving riders from our waiting list and into our program.

GallopNYC is committed to serving low-income and middle-income families, those most in need of access to beneficial services like ours. Generous donors make it possible for us to provide therapeutic riding scholarships to 80% of our riders.

A gift of $500 will provide a full therapeutic riding fee waiver for an 11-week session. A gift of $1,500 will provide a scholarship for an entire year of therapeutic riding. A gift of $10,000 can provide the funding for 20 people with disabilities to participate in our program. And a gift of any size makes a difference in the life of a person with disabilities.

“I have been volunteering with GallopNYC for nearly a year, and have witnessed first-hand the impact that the programs have had on people with disabilities. I see children who rarely speak words, give commands loudly and clearly. I see children who gain enough core strength to sit upright. Children perform better academically at school and adults develop new skills, strength and confidence. The program truly changes lives.” Volunteer John Scagnelli.

“As a parent of a child with special needs it can be difficult to find a place or activity that he can really enjoy that will help him grow.  We found that place at GallopNYC . My son has more strength in his body and better coordination, he is more confident with himself and what is capable of doing, but most importantly he has the opportunity to interact with new friends and of course the horses.” Parent of a rider

Your generous gift will go immediately and directly to moving hundreds of riders from our waiting list into our programs. Help people with disabilities live life as fully, productively and independently as possible and make yourself feel good too.
