Tess Baker
“As a lifelong "horse girl" and advocate for the advancement of children and adults of all strengths and abilities, I could not be more proud to run the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half this March in partnership with GallopNYC. I hope you’ll join me in donating what you can to allow GallopNYC to continue to realize their vision of making the life-changing benefits of therapeutic experiences with horses available to all New Yorkers with disabilities and other needs. The opportunity to raise funds in support of such a worthy and unique organization while I embark on a personal goal to re-join the running world and complete the NYC Half for a third time is one for which I am truly grateful."

I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to run for GallopNYC. GallopNYC provides children and adults the opportunity for therapeutic horseback riding. Having a place in NYC to provide this kind of therapy for those in need is amazing. My sister has had a love for horses since she was little and also volunteers at GallopNYC with lessons and barn work. I hear her talk about the time she spends volunteering and just how much being around the horses and the riding therapy helps. I love to run and I am happy to have the ability to support such an amazing organization so it can continue to provide therapeutic riding."

"I’m grateful for the opportunity to combine my passion for running with my dedication to GallopNYC to support their life-changing therapeutic horseback riding programs. GallopNYC empowers people with disabilities by helping them build strength, confidence and independence. I’m excited to run my fifth half marathon on an iconic course through NYC in support of this incredible cause! Thank you for your support!"
