Rene Theriault is a Managing Director and Head of Securities Investing within KKR’s Real Estate Credit platform, where he has worked since 2018. Prior to joining KKR, Rene spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Large Loans in the Real Estate Financing Group. Earlier in his career, he was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, advising on commercial real estate and corporate transactions. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Harvard Law School.

Rene has been a member of the Board of Directors of GallopNYC since 2022. He and his family share a love of riding and are passionate about the connection between people and horses and the therapeutic impact of GallopNYC’s work.
