Jennie Bucove to Lead GallopNYC as Executive Director
New York – Oct. 23, 2024 – GallopNYC, the premier nonprofit organization providing therapeutic experiences with horses to New Yorkers with disabilities, seniors, veterans and first responders, is pleased to announce that Jennie Bucove will serve as its new executive director.
"Jennie brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to GallopNYC," said GallopNYC Founder and Interim Executive Director Alicia Kershaw. "We are excited to have her join our leadership team. Her extensive experience and deep commitment to our mission will be instrumental as we expand our reach, providing even more New Yorkers with access to the transformative power of therapeutic horsemanship."
Bucove has served as GallopNYC’s chief operating officer since July 2024. She is an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience launching and scaling businesses, driving growth and solving strategic problems. Her career highlights include founding and leading Furnished Living, a furniture line designed for seniors, and holding various leadership positions at The New York Times, where she focused on strategic planning, corporate development and advertising operations. Bucove holds an MBA from Columbia University.
